Climate
The climate in the northern part of the country is the Mediterranean climate, and everywhere else and in the hinterland it is the desert climate. A Hot and dry summer in Tunisia lasts from May to September and it is the most attractive period for tourists. During this period, the temperatures exceed 30 C during a day. Water falls can be expected in Tunisia only in winter, but it may rarely happen that there are some heavy and short showers in summer. The water temperature encourages tourists to bathe in the sea.
